UCPath Center Executive Team Announcement
(NOVEMBER 2012) University of California Chief Financial Officer Peter Taylor has announced the appointment of James “Jim” Leedy, Gayelea Allison and Bryant Bailess to the UCPath executive team.
Jim Leedy, Executive Director, UCPath Center
Jim joins the University of California from Tanberg Data Corporation, where he served as Worldwide Director of Finance since 2007. In that role, Jim managed Tanberg’s finance, legal, payroll, human resources, and facilities organizations. Jim’s experience includes 18 years with Hewlett Packard, where he managed a 200+-person shared-services organization that has direct applicability to the UCPath Center. Jim begins his new role immediately and will be based at the UCPath Center in Riverside.
Gayelea Allison, Operations Director, UCPath Center
As former director of UCLA Payroll Systems & Services, Gayelea brings 29 years of UC experience in payroll and operations to her new role at the UCPath Center. Gayelea has worked on the UCPath initiative for the past year at UCLA. In that role, she implemented a web-based Time & Attendance system, oversaw the biweekly payroll-cycle conversion, and attended UCPath configuration and business process mapping sessions. Gayelea began her new role on October 29, and will be based at the UCPath Center in Riverside.
Bryant Bailess, Customer Service Director, UCPath Center
Bryant joins the University from Accenture, where he served as a Customer Relationship Management Consultant in San Francisco and Chicago. In that role, he led a team designing and deploying help desk, contact center and back office processing operations for a variety of clients. Bryant led the build-out of a shared-services contact center for a healthcare network, which has direct application to the UCPath Center project. Prior to his experience at Accenture, Bryant managed support, service and sales efforts at Rent.com, eBay, Wells Fargo Mortgage, and UPS. Bryant also will be based at the UCPath Center in Riverside.
